Safety is the #1 concern of the SCA and the Marshal is the person who takes safety very seriously. The Marshal of a group makes sure that all fighters and their equipment (weapons & armor) meet the minimal safety requirements set forth by the Kingdom and Society. The Marshal is also in charge of any fighting within the group whether it be a fighter practice or an event. Marshals are the officials on the field.

Deputy of the Knight Marshal whose responsibility lies on the archery field. Makes sure everything is safe and properly inspected. Runs archery activities for the group including practices and fun and period shoots.
